The music at The Ship tends to be mostly Irish music and has a core of resident musicians.

Come and join us at The Ship, it's on the harbour front in Whitby. The music tends to be mostly Irish but it's not a hard and fast rule. You can play whatever you want, it's an easy going session. There's always excellent complementary food.
Whitby has lots more to offer and there are lots of places to stay. Why not make a weekend of it?
