Just to let you know that a copy of your CD English Pub Session Tunes I ordered earlier in the week has arrived safely.
I also wanted to thank you for all the help over the years, and for taking the trouble to write your books.
I bought my first box in 1991 from your Cleckheaton shop after listening to the box players at that years' Whitby Folk week. Niall was working in the shop at the time, & I started with a Delicia Popular, and a copy of Absolute Beginners. I've flitted about a bit over the years, and owned the usual Hohners, then a Hascy and a Kriss, which I loved, but found a bit bulky for lugging about playing for Morris. I settled on a wet-tuned Dino Black Pearl a few years ago, and am still in love with it.
The link through all the years has been your books, which I go back to again and again, I've completed all the tutors and use the tunebooks regularly.
Anyway, enough rambling, just wanted to say thanks.

I've just left a message on your answerphone, but just in case you don't get it, here it is in writing.
The order I made with you at about 11.00 am on Thursday arrived at about 7.00am on Friday. It was just what I wanted, the Fiddlers tune book will replace and expand my (rather tatty) 30 year old original. The other two books will find a good home as part of a birthday present next week for a good mate, whose missus has just bought him a mandolin!
Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know that your service is outstandingly good and very much appreciated. I hope we can do business again sometime.

I started playing the tin whistle about 9 months ago. I bought your set of 4 tin whistle tunes and cd's.
With a lot of practice and many hours of enjoyment from it I have completed two of the books. Lots of work to be done yet but the foundation has been layed. I always told myself that real tester for me was Grandfather's Clock and the Sailor's Hornpipe. Today, I played these with much joy and realised I had made a move forward in my ability to play a tune on the tin whistle.

You may be interested to know that it is a lot better than it was. The bathroom is now devoid of a sponge but it really works well.
